100 Pieces Of Me Project

Started in August 2013, A 100 pieces of is a blog on wordpress. It initially began as a project about Urban women dwelling primarily in Delhi. But it developed into a blog about the city she lives and navigates through as a single woman. From encounters with women from all walks of life to her personal journey of loss and longing, Saadiya looks as much at the extrinsic as the intrinsic, constantly trying to not only understand her subjects and the world around her but also putting her own self and her own family under the microscope.

A 100 pieces of me was conceptualized as a project by the artist after spending years in Kashmir; she felt that she needed to say something about the society that she came from.
