If twenty years down the line, someone looks at my work ( if they look at it at all) and is unable to figure out- my state of mind, the state of society, what I stood for, the time in which I exist nor the state of my heart what is going to be the point of my creations? I photograph to not give you an ornament to put up on your wall but to leave behind fragments of me with the viewer and the ‘owner’ of my works ( the owners of a part of me). ‘ Saadiya Kochar
